I hope they are giving you a credit on payments and a rental car while they play with it

The car should be provided as part of the free ToyotaCare since they have the car more than a day.

They have been giving me a loaner car every time. I'm supposed to pick up my car today after dropping it off on Tuesday. Hopefully my next post will be my last and I'll let you all know what they did to fix it. :)

Talked to the service rep on Friday and he said that the Toyota technicians determined that a bent pin in the ECU is the cause of the problem and needs to be replaced. I should get the car back either today or tomorrow.

    OK, thanks.
Did they need to replace the ECU or were they able to straighten the bent pin?

They did replace the ECU as well as the bent pin. However, I just received a call from the dealer and the lights came back on during their test drive so they will be keeping the car and will try something else.

Like giving you a new car that doesn't have the problem. I think you meet the requirements of the Lemon Law now.

They are now going to replace the master wiring harness and two controllers. One of the parts is coming from Japan and won't get here until the 23rd.
