I contacted the seller about the mic issue and she said her other customers are having the same issue. I assume you guys are the other customers

However she said once you plug in an external mic it cuts off the internal but that doesn't sound like the case. I am really disappointed as this is one of the basic features I'd expect to work.

I have ordered the same Android radio, but with 2GB RAM.
As I was looking for information for installation, I came across this forum ...
My radio is not yet delivered / installed, and when I read that the fan is loud, I have looked for alternative.
Would be in the case space for a fan adapter 50 / 40mm to 30mm?
Then you could use that is significantly quieter fan.

Where do you connect the blue wire of the antenna adapter?

at the first test it worked properly.

Where did you have the GPS antenna installed? my dealership has installed the GPS antenna visible in the cockpit next to the speaker and said, in a hidden installation of the GPS antenna, the gps connection would be much worse...

 

Mine is hidden on top of the unit...no issues.

I was just looking at getting this radio and putting it in my 2011 Prius with JBL. I've read on others that I need an adapter to get the JBL to work, and was just wondering if anyone can point me to a cheap one to do that. And besides that if there would be anything else I'd need in order to get this to work. Thanks for the help.

 

I have a 2011 Prius with the JBL radio. Is this another install? what features that I have now will I lose. Is it possible to use this head unit or any other head unit and still utilize my current microphone and steering wheel controls?

 

I want to use MIRACAST. Android 4.2+ is supposed to have it, should be labeled as "wireless display", is that listed on this radio??

The idea is to use this in conjunction with an overhead display for the backseat, the overhead display has an HDMI input. Would love to select movies for my son up front.

 

I got an external mic and now it seems both the internal and external are working but the sound quality is no good for phone calls.

Did you get a chance to disable your internal?

 

Update, I disabled the internal mic. I have a video the seller sent if you want to see how it is done.
