    Actually Aluminum isn't really used a lot in Lion cells. It is used a lot in NiMH cells though and this would make them very competitive with Lion cells. Imagine a battery pack the same size in your Prius but at half the weight and 3 times the 6.5 Ah capacity?

    Sure, one the size of the existing pack but 3.6kwh would be great. add a plug and run in blended mode for 100mpg plus for 20 miles.
