Alpine INE-Z928HD

In the book for the ASWC theres instructions how to manually program it and make the buttons do whatever function you want.

 

I contacted Metra and re did the auto learn and everything works now. I was hitting the volume up button and was suppose to be hitting the phone hang up on the wheel.

did you ever get the phone buttons working? i haven't been able to successfully remap the buttons; my phone hang up button is "folder up" and my phone pick up button is "folder down".

 

Which steering interface are you using? I've remapped the buttons fine, phone buttons work, and since I have a PC2 I don't have the "talk" button, so I remapped the "Mode" button on the center/left of the wheel to activate voice controls.

 

do you remember the sequence for how you were able to remap that button?

 

How is it taking the head unit out or just getting to the back of it?

Does anyone know which wire from the back of the stock head unit can be used as the remote wire for an amp?

I recently installed the Alpine INE-Z928HD and I have most of the controls except the Phone and a few more functions. What did you do to reset the unit?

Looks great garm!! Could you give us a price break of your system please? Also did you remove the spare tire or not? Finally what's she sound like? A video would be a nice to listen to it. I haven't heard from OEM yet and am getting ants in my pants for a new system! Thanks!!
