Agriculture: How much does it contribute versus burning fossil fuel?

    GMO is just as hot as climate change in terms of widely spread strong responses. I am rather bland on the subject. Probably won't kill us all, probably will play a large role in 'fitting' crops to future conditions with a bit less fertilizer and biocide use.

    Whether it is a smart move to hand Ag over to a few large companies, is another matter entirely. Can't sort that out for y'all. Have a nice day.

    Oh they might assert improved crop water use efficiency as well (which would be very nice), but I have not seen the evidence in support.
