We kept the OEM mags and installed Bridgestone Blizzak WS-90 winter tires on these mags. This is now our winter set :)

LOL :) We are really pleased with the new mags & tires. When the car is freshly washed, it looks fantastic!!!
Since we tend on keeping our cars a long time (this PP replaces a Corolla S 2009), we invested a bit more in mags/excellent tires so the car looks great in winter and in summer.

    Hi all,
I purchased a set of Flow One Spec F2 wheels to replace my OEM wheels for my brand new 2020 Prius Prime Limited. ~25k miles later (I do not drive much!) and I discover that the inner 1.5-2 inches of the rear tire tread is unevenly worn on both sides during a regular tire rotation. The wear was bad enough to require replacment of both rear tires which then triggered having to replace all 4 tires. The tire shop which does not do alignment advised getting an alignment to prevent premature replacement of the new set of tires.

I never thought to get an alignment on my new Prime when I first swapped out the OEM wheels. I love the way my car handles with the larger wheels (17x8 ET45 18.4 lbs each) so maybe this post will help others considering replacing the OEM wheels to add an alignment after installing larger wheels/tires.

Unfortunately I also learned today when I had my 4 wheel alignment done at the dealership ($180!) that the 2020 Prime does not have camber adjustment, so I am not certain the tire wear issue is resolved. The service person also said they recommend annual alignments on this model to prevent uneven tire wear even with OEM wheels. This cost is something I never thought about when purchasing this car, which I believed to be fairly low in mainteance. So January 2025ends with a $750 unexpected tire bill and a $180 alighment. OUCH!
