Our experience with the Comfortreds on our 2016 Elantra, is as your post delineates. Now approaching 40 thou miles, they should pass 60 thou. They are very smooth & point straight, with OK initial turning response. Compared with the Goodyear Eagle GTs (no longer made) that are on the front of our 2013 Elantra, the Comfortreds are quieter. However, the Eagle GTs put the electric steering response of the 2013 Elantra on a par with the electric steering of our 2016 Elantra, which I always thought had been improved & more subtle versus the 2013 Elantra steering.
