I've seen Woz come out and triumph the Bolt over his current issues with his Tesla Model S. He has yet to see the Model 3 though, and whatever changes they may make, but his issues seem to be a general dislike of Tesla's features.

I'm not sure how much of a media concoction the story may be, there are several interested parties in pushing anything over the Model 3.

If the Bolt is indeed a better buy, the cache of Tesla will likely keep Model 3 reservations on track. In any case, a lightly used Model 3 from the first crop of vehicles will command a break even or small profit resale.

At least the ethanol FCEV Nissan plans to release in Japan can be fueled with cheap vodka until a alcohol station arrives locally.

 

i wouldn't trust woz's opinion, only because of his hysterical prius cruise control moment.

i agree! that's why we have choices. in truth, i would buy an ugly practical car, before a practically ugly car.

 

I think Limpet Lips looks bad as well, but then, I don't exactly love the looks of my Prius either... But I still drive it every day. Like bisco says, ugly practical.

As the owner/driver, you'll spend more time looking at the dash than the nose anyway.

The car will be that good, the only gripe will be the nose design. It'll make non-owners happy they can justify not making the best new vehicle purchase of their lifetimes (incentives in some areas are insane, looking at $14k back in my Province), or those people who own model 3 and just need something to whine about.

Aftermarket mirror on the hood to always be reminded of the "ugly" front end design? Genius!

yes, it comes across as NOT having a product that customers want as much - so the best you can do is run the negative campaign - whatever means that you can find ... like with politicians sniping e/other.

Well, the FCEV plans to release by 2020 in Japan takes 55% ethanol. So I'd say 7 up and vodka or gin and tonic can be used in emergencies.

 

Just be like Nascsar and put a sticker on it, problem solved. That was the first thing I said when I saw it in March.

someone must be. it looks like bill the engineer took hiss sawzall and cut the nose off. besides, putting a down payment and/or buying one doesn't mean you like it. if someone says they like it, i'll believe them. i just can't believe elon didn't check with us first.
