Adding extra USB port

I had this same issue with my 2013 Camry Hybrid and 2014 Tundra. I think if anyone complains to Toyota about connectivity via USB, the automatic response has been taught to be "you need to connect via blue tooth". It is indeed supposed to work via blue tooth or direct hardwire via USB(all Entune, music or anything else played from your phone to the radio). For some reason, the USB doesn't seem to be as reliable and disconnects intermittently. Not sure if it is a vibration thing or not. My 2014 Tundra's USB pretty much has quit working for everything. I now always use a cigarette lighter plug-in adapter. It's faster too. There's nothing to shake loose on a blue tooth connection! I have an iPhone.
