If the OP is still around, settling up on the car is one thing but settling up on your injuries is another. I had a VERY similar accident many years ago, only my '85 Civic had no airbags and I was going the speed limit of 55MPH and T-boned a panel van, but I digress.

Not sure where you are in the process but you deserve to be compensated for pain and suffering. As another said, don't give a statement to their insurance company, as they will or already have tried to interview you. This will be used against you later. If you can settle with them to your satisfaction by using the wisdom of this book, then great! You'll save substantial attorney fees (xx% of the settlement amount). But if insurance ties to low-ball you, then you can still bring an attorney on board. That's what I eventually did, but there is usually a limited time window (varies by state) to file suit. 2 years in Alabama. After getting the opposing insurance company as high as they would go, I took it to an attorney who agreed to split anything he could get above and beyond their "best" offer (he filed suit). Worked out well for both of us, as I had already done most of the work!

well, that's what happens when you have to drop someone off at home at 11:00pm and to avoid using any more gas to go home I charged my car for two hours and twenty miniutes

Welp we had a lot of rain come down a couple of days ago and I'm assuming a small rock or metal fragment was embedded in the water splash from the cars passing me in the opposite direction through the flooded streets
