About regen and why Tesla made it wrong

Me, I want the climate control to have an option where i don't just set one target temperature that it tries to meet in all conditions. I'd like to be able to say "move with the ambient temperature a little". 75 is comfortable when it's 80 out, and 80 is comfortable when it's 90 out, but it's like brain freeze to suddenly get into a 75 or 80 degree car from 100 out.

What I would want them to do is either add a screen on the MFD where I can draw a Bézier curve for outside to inside temp, or let me plug in a USB stick and upload a Python or Lua script that can read all the sensors and adjust the temp and fan setpoints.

They're probably not going to do either of those things. (If they ever do, you saw it here first.)
