Pull out the dipstick and look at the color and condition of the oil. Does it look dirty and broken down or is it still clean and viscous. If it’s in good shape you’re not hurting anything by driving on it until it gets bad. I've made it a habit to also check the air and cabin filter at every oil change. Any decent oil change place will air-blast them out if they’re in good shape. If you DIY on oil changes you can go to any good auto parts store and they will probably do it for you too. If the filters are nasty then you just buy new ones.
