Looks great. It has a stealthy look for sure now.

Better put some kind of DRLs on it, or I can almost guarantee that someone won't see you coming. I sometimes feel like our wintergray metallic Prius must be invisible the way some people cut us off all the time. :(

Very well done! Good job! I also like the side sills - going with the new trend (seen on the new IS for example).

I too had the 5 axis kit. My bumper is ate up a little, but not bad. I took it off for winter, and decided rather then re-spray it, to wrap it. I used a roll and a half, roll was 10 yds by 60" wide. I ordered mine through a local company, but can get you my guys info tomorrow if you are interested. The only things I removed from the car to wrap it were the mirrors, handles, antenna and rear squirter. Everything else I did on the car, one panel at a time. I am uploading some better pics I will post tonight or tomorrow. It is one of those things, it was as hard as I made it. What was funny is my wife drives the car to work, so monday I did the passenger doors, and quarter, and the rear gate. Tuesday she drove it to work and had some funny looks. Then tues I finished pass side, weds I did drivers doors, thurs I finished drivers side, and hood, and did the bumpers sat morning before I had to go to a wedding. So every day she drove to work last week, it looked more and more odd lol. She was hating life by thurs when she started getting all the questions about it.

Just out if interest how do you actually apply the wrap. Is it via heat gun?

Sandog, Did you have to use any primer in the areas where the vinyl tension tends to lift the vinyl like in concave areas?

If it is anything like applying 3M Dinoc, I think it's easier to apply than clear bra material. That opens possibilities for covering the front of a car if you can find something that goes well with the paint color.

I'm jealous and would like to have a similar color and effect.
How about if I "Scotchbrite" all the clear coat???? and avoid the wrapping.....
It's a very nice looking Prius

Dudeā€¦Bravo man. I would love to know how you did the front bumper since to me that would be the biggest challenge.

When I did my front bumper (3m Matte Black) I did mine off the car. That was a big mistake. I constantly had to focus on small areas because I didn't have the leverage (bumper moved around) to find an angle and pull out an area.

It would have been much easier for me to do the wrap with the bumper on the car. I suspect it will still be a pain, but much easier to lay and secure down larger sections at a time.

Peter, did you remove the door handles as well? If so how did you remove them? Would love to see some pics of your matte black ride! Bravo!
