I'd vote for the dictionary entry, I didn't even notice that aspect but it's an entirely reasonable conjecture. . Oh, and to answer the other question ... muck around in the system preferences for the multi-point trackpad to find the original. . _H*
An additional piece of input: Another picture in the same general batch [think "3-finger swipe"...] was obviously shot here: Google Maps visible in google-maps/streetview, which I can set up to run in all its scriptified glory now that I've got firefox nicely sandboxed off in its own area and running as its own unique UID that can't trash MY stuff so I feel mildly more confident in temporarily turning on all the bells-n-whistles that this stuff wants. . This is a good learning experience in how to peg locations by lat/long in google's database; just a matter of syntax. . It's funny how these people have been immortalized into parts of a widely distributed OS. They must be aware of it, and likely signed away every shred of recourse... Were they just local folks, I wonder, or random Apple employees [or offspring thereof] with cameras and too much time up around Tahoe? . _H*
I wonder if some of those folks are even *aware* they made the funny pages? Eg the Google Street View, which IMHO is a dangerous thing
