90% of Prius owners have PhD's, apparently

:focus: Ohhhh..alright...I've worked at a college for 20+ years, does that count?

 

I have two postgraduate degrees which convey to the discerning eye that I dropped out of Ph.D. programs in both math and E.E.

I left MIT grad school shortly after drawing a safe number in the draft lottery during the Vietnam war.

 

I'm a college dropout.

 

I earned my "Prius honorable Degree" trough many years of owning one.

 

My degree, a BA in Theatre Arts (aka a degree in poverty) has pretty much nothing to do with my career in Unix/Network systems administration.

 

I have an AA in business and one in electronics, a BA in Sociology and a California life-time Standard Teaching Credential but alas, no PhD.

 

I dont know many Jewish people who go for PhDs, compared to Asians or Indians. JDs and MDs, but not very many PhDs.

 

Well that's explains it then.

Why I've taken so long to get a Prius. I just don't have the intellectual like capacitation!

Guess I better get ready for another season of "America's Got Talent"...and just enjoy my Honda Fit.

I do have a Minister Licence I obtained online. Does that count?

 

Just got a bachelor's in EECS. However, I am in Mensa and have been tested and found to have a genius IQ. No, I am not making it up.

 

Take a look someday what fraction of US Nobel laureates are Jews. Remember, Jews are about 2% of the US population.

Do any one of them own a Prius?

 

And all of you posters with advanced degrees must have a lot of free time on your hands....

That was certainly my mother's attitude.

 

Fortunately I didn't spend a single late night futzing with data. I am a morning person and I like my sleep over obtaining any degree. I do, however, had time to drive the Prius over 35k of road trips as a graduate student.

 

Very well-decorated family you have hahaha.

 

PhD means you've come up with something new. But it doesn't mean that you're good at the old stuff. That's what Masters are for.
