I always wanted to be a 700-mile club member. 600+ is my normal driving. I don't think I ever finished a tank under 600 miles (except for highway driving). This past May, I saw I passed 600 miles before even getting the low fuel warning (normally I would get that around 550-575). I was at 615 when it said "0 miles to go" At that time, I knew I could push it. I had previously driven 65 miles after the "0 miles to go" beep. This time, I went 85 miles and achieved 700 miles for the first time . It was a bit nerve racking with no emergency fuel jug. But I knew people achieved over 100 miles after the "0 miles to go" beep. When I pumped, the nozzle clicked off at 10.66 gallons. I pushed 11 gallons in total. That is also a record amount I pumped at once. I averaged 65.5mpg. This is strangely wasn't my highest. My highest MPG on a single tank was 69MPG which I achieved once only. (A bit boring driving ). And I don't know why I didn't push the 700 then. Probably I didn't pump enough fuel or I didn't know about the club Anyways, I am glad I did it. I can achieve 750 as well. But 800? I don't think so. Maybe with a Gen4...
Just traded my '16 Rav4H for a '15 Prius III. So far my best tank as a delivery driver is 550mi mostly city. Been getting roughly 55mpg. Car is new to me at 119k so I have a few maintenance items to complete and I'll report back. I'm planning to do... Spark plugs Diff/Transaxle (whatever we call it now) oil Inverter/Radiator coolant change
I'll add it to the list. Oil isn't supposed to be changed till 122k because the dealership changed it on trade BUT I'm changing it at 120k just so I can follow the Toyota service schedule. I DIY so oil is cheap to me. There are several threads about the EGR and intake manifold on here if I'm not mistaken.
