Jazzer, My wife has enjoyed her Volvo S80 T6 for a couple of years now. She constantly wants to borrow my Prius because its cute and fun to drive. She pays little attention to mileage and just thinks its cool. She is anything but anal retentive about it. Incidently, the Prius has MUCH more back seat leg room than the Volvo. She's borrowed it to drive real estate clients around for room and the coolness factor. I enjoy the thought of real estate agents getting away with a $21K Prius instead of a $45 to $65K car for their real estate work. Maybe their clients won't complain about too high of commission rates if the agent drives a Prius. You'll enjoy it no matter how you drive it.
