The two click fill up method shouldn't matter as long as it's consistent.

I usually use the one click and then fill to the next dollar. It's not the most accurate, but over time it's a wash.

Ok... So been researching the numbers that came up..... Yes, my written notes say 10.038 and 600.1 miles.... that is pretty close to the numbers generated by the prius... not very likely, yes.... so got me digging into an old email I sent to a co-worker back in september ..."541 miles on 10.003 gallons is 54.1 mpg. Prius was saying 57.1 mpg" with that ~5% off... not likely in my book that my prius magically started calulating exactly... My next best guess is that the old brain of mine transcribed an extra "0" from the pump after the decimal place... so that would be 600.1 miles on 10.380 gallons... 57.8 miles per gallon... ~4% off... more likely... The next couple of tanks I'm gonna really watch.... this mpg stuff gets addicting...

Is this the 600 mile club who have not driven 700 or 800 miles? Does 700 membership automatically get you into the 600 mile club? similarly with 800 miles does it get you into both clubs? Will you be sending out decoder rings to the members, and little printable cards we can carry in our wallets?

Yes and maybe I should. Hahaha

Little laminated cards that prove you're a member of one of the clubs. You can show off your membership to your green friends or proves to the conservatives you are patriotic despite driving an import car!

Man! - you had a 700 mile tank in your lap. It was right there for the taking. You had an easy 100 more miles in that tank. Oh well.

I made it to 714 on the next tank and I have had one other 700 mile stank since.

Can I be in both 600 and 700 clubs? Isn't there some religious club named something like the 700 club? Nobody's going to be coming around asking for money will they? I just want my decoder ring or an oscar meyer hot dog whistle. If I can be in only one club, I'll definitely prefer the 700 club as long as nobody asks for money. 600_mile_club.JPG

You should have no issues making the 700 mile club. At your current rate, you'd hit 700 miles and only be putting in 10.6 gallons of gas.

I'm already in the 700 mile club. I'm just dogging it now to see if I can get double listed in the 600 mile club.

    Woo-Hoo!!! #30.

I will not go for the 800 mile club even I did something like fill up in Denver and drive to Omaha - that would be too annoying to myself and to too many others.

Well hit the 600 mile mark again. (y)

All the miles were in Florida. Rather flat terrain. Mostly Rural driving to and from work. No real long highway driving. No A/C. Tires kept at 40psi. No special driving techniques. Easy on the gas at the lights and early on the brake coming up to the light to get the most out of the regen.

The low fuel indicator started flashing at 554.8. Drove to 600.3 while that little light was flashing. That's 45.5 miles while the indicator was flashing! If I remember correctly there were probably about 30 of those miles with the DTE on "0".

There were 10.215 miles on the fill up. Used the two clicks and rounded to the nearest dollar on both the initial fillup and the 600 mile fill up. That's 58.8mpg from Fuelly and 60.9mpg from Toyota. 3.44% error on the Toyota calculation.

    Nice!

No way I can hit the 600 mile club with this winter weather and these darn Yokohama tires. Given my high speed commute I have enough trouble hitting 600 miles in the summer with good tires let alone these wobbly rocks for OE tires!

    600 miles.JPG 600.0 miles! :)

Most of the miles are from my daily commute roughly 50 miles (during rush hour) some p&g.
    7 miles driving range remaining.
