Beauty is truly in the eyes of the beholder. I think the C-HR looks fine. At least it has ground clearance. ;)

Remember, nobody said "this is what the new Prius will look like". Please read that again! And again!

The Autoguide paragraph shows clearly how humans love to "leap" to conclusions! One little comment and they interpret it as a gospel book!

It's like all the new grills have to have a large frown or they aren't cool.

How about no center grill and small air intakes next to the fog lights for a more clean / simple look?

For the Prius that is, you know where the gas engine isn't on half the time and if it is it doesn't need every last bit of horsepower.

Put in a stronger electric motor if you have to but restrict the airflow into the engine compartment. And that's assuming you don't have active shutters on the grill or use electric fans to move more air through the same space.

Stock market have a phase where you start hearing descriptions like "irrational exuberance", "frothy", and so on. I think front bumper designs are there, now. Just for laughs, can you picture that C-HR with front license plate?

We were doing a lot of dog walking lately, and I got to checking out cars as we're walking: there's a lot of completely phoney front grill openings, especially in the corners. They're pretty much obligatory: black grills with no actual opening, lol.

I have to agree with you, at least regarding the grille. I'm not especially excited about the rest of the design, but as a concept, it is fine.

Based on the most recent test mules sightings, it appears to me that the G4 will bear a very similar profile to the G3. Makes me wonder if we are seeing G4 innards in G3 clothes?

good point, i don't see a whole lot of difference either. maybe the change in looks will only be similar the change from g2 to g3.

from heavy masked pictures it appears they lowered front, similar to Prius C, lowered cowl and reduced dashboard. The rear seems to be lower more alone sedan lines similar to Sonata or Mazda3 sedan.

Gen4 is on completely new TNGA platform, they cannot do that. But they could slap same Gen3 sheet metal or disguised it to look like Gen3.

I think Gen 4 will be sedan like but hatckback still which would be cool....well I mean, I actually don't care if it looks like a sedan :O Probably sleaker front and meaner grill, I think the goal is a "mean car" lol

While I understand what you are saying, and I appreciate that it is a TNGA platform ..... I specifically said "profile." The dimensions could be all different, yet maintain the profile. BUT, we don't know that the test mule is a G4.
