Well, it looks like It'll be another 8 mos before we hear anything, and then 6 mos after that for Gen 4 PiP news?

How do you figure that? They will officially reveal in about 6 months and deliver here in about 9 to 10 months from now.

    That's my guess.

Are you talking only Gen 4? If so then yeah, but what about the PiP?

Any imput on a gen4 prius v? Worth waiting?

I will be taking the wife to look at a new leftover sky blue 2014 v three Tomm to replace her rav4. Wondering if the advertised $2500 dealer disc, plus the just raised to $2000 toyota incentive along with 0% for 60 months is a good enough deal? I was gonna push for another 1-1.5k off.... Hoping to upgrade and purchase this time with the payment being the same as the Rav's lease payment. I am hopeful as it's the end of the month and one of the last 2014 Pri left on the lot, plus they are advertising "get in a new car for same or lower payment" event..

All they can do is say no. It never hurts to ask!
And yes, it looks like a fall 2015 introduction and deliveries to start in spring 2016.
I would expect to see the car in Japan in a few months, on the road in owners hands. They -usually- start there 6 months before going "overseas".

I do not think the the body panels will have much of a variation or changes. These will have to deal with air mass drag coefficiency.

Once it is on the road in Japan, the cat will be out of the bag and Toyota might as well do a reveal here. I think that teasing bits will be released within the next 3 months, then full reveal in the fall (Frankfurt or Tokyo Auto Show). A week ago or so Erica of the Prius marketing team said "Soon enough, soon enough...well, not as soon as some of you would like, but soon"

PiP is 6 mos after the "regular liftback" version, right?

I thought it was 1 year after the launch of the Gen 4.

Although I no longer have my Prius and have traded in on a Camry Hybrid I'm still going to want to see what this thing is going to look like. It's got to be something radical for this delay.

Well I once again was impatient waiting for the elusive Gen4 and just now bought the final leftover 2014 Prius v three at my #1 go to dealership for my wife! Traded in her 2014 Rav4 which was averaging an abismal 18-20 mpg over the last 9000 miles.

Opted for an amazing lease rate over the 0% apr and my payment went down $52 a month and nothing out of pocket! :)

    Happy wife happy life.

Edit: it's the sky blue. We are loving the color.

Edit of an Edit: The new cars color is called "clear sky" and not sky blue I just realized.

Thanks! :) we are now a 100% Pri household. And to top off the night we stopped for a wonderful dinner at the ale house on the way home. As an added bonus the wife doesn't drink so I had the pleasure of indulging in a couple pints and as an appetatif had an Irish Coffey. The wife managed a solid 48 mpg on our drive home! I was impressed, My teachings have been fruitful. Haha! All in all a good day.

It really is an interesting color as it seems to morph as the day / daylight progress. Starts out like a baby blue, by twilight it starts to look like a light grey or silver and at night it looks almost like my blizzard pearl (so said my wife as we pulled up at the house)...

Tony's topic "everything we know" did miss one thing we do know for sure. There IS going to be a G4. We have confirmation on that from Toyota and from the Prius Team! ;)

I'm personally considering an article exactly one year old to be too speculative for inclusion. There have been many articles making mileage claims with little/no solid backing.
