Has been an enjoyable first 100K; vehicle was purchased new in February 2011. Not one single issue, only tires at 59,000 (Goodyear FuelMax, replaced by Michelin Energy Saver A/S). This weekend the coolant for the ICE and Inverter will be changed as well as the transaxle fluid replacement. While the car is lifted, it will be an opportunity for a brake cleaning and lubrication service, which was also done at around 50K miles. Jeff

What brand / product did you use? 10k, Mobil 1 0w20 with M1 or OEM filter 6) How about post a picture of 100,000 miles on ODO? I had one but I can't seem to find it now. 7) Others? I did have to replace my steering rack around 40k when I just outside of warranty. That kind of sucked since it was like $1300 for the service. Other than that, zero issues with it other than a couple fender benders due to inattentive drivers. I've repainted my front bumper 2 times now and it still have tons of rock chips. Highly recommend you clear bra the front of your car if you're looking at buying a brand new one. The paint on this car is super brittle.
Disclaimer I'm at 88,000 right now but seeing as its a 2014 I'll no doubt be at 100,000 before the end of the summer, got the car with under 30 miles on it in 2/2014 it just broke 88,000 today 4/25/2016. 94,000 6/19/2016 1) Did you replace the HV battery pack? Dealer looked at them and said they are leaking and your warranty covers them.. So what the heck. I got the extended 7 year 125,000 mile warranty. Paid for itself so far...

Every 10,000 miles at the dealer only 6) How about post a picture of 100,000 miles on ODO? 7) Others I purchased it new in Oct 2010, in Feb 2011 an ice storm brought down a large branch which managed to damage the roof, hood, windshield, and both front bumpers had it fixed and repainted. In June 2011 someone tabbed by rear end and had just minor damage to repair after repairs were done my husband drove it home only to back into the driveway and hitting my daughters car back to the repair shop it went he hasn't driven it since and thank goodness know more accidents. It was repainted a total of 3 times as well as having the ziebar redone. The only other thing I had to do was replace the radio as the display intermittently was all jumble so the dealer ordered a rebuilt radio for $247.00 appose to installing a new one for $1,300.00. One thing I haven't replaced and I know I should is the spark plugs, I know they were suppose to be done at 125,000 or 130,000 miles but when my mechanic changed the transaxle fluid he was suppose to do the spark plugs too but there was a mix up and he didn't do it. I haven't had time to take it back to have them done and I haven't really noticed an issue with them.
Good video on spark plug replacement here: Almost all the work is gaining access! If your mechanic uses anti-seize on the plug threads, I'd suggest 13 ft/lb torque, or 15 ft/lb for dry threads. The sparkplug socket size is 9/16", BTW.

Well, I just bought my 2011 with 90,000 miles on it so I expect I'll be back sometime next year with my 100,000 mile report. I'm expecting to get at least another 90,000 out of it....bought my 2005 with 181,000 miles and just gave it to my son-in-law with 230,000 on it!

The mater of miles driven practically means nothing. I have a young 09 Prius with 162k miles on it still with the original Hybrid battery that works as new. The Hyrbid battery would typically last the life time of the car no mater of miles driven. There are many Prius's that are 10+ years with low mileage. The life of the battery is too much of a subjective topic to discuss as it varies from person to person and how well you take care and maintain the car and the region you live in rather very hot or cooler. Cooler region's typically give a longer life span for the batteries than very very hot regions reason why some fail quicker than others. Many people fail to maintain the cooling fan in the back as heat kills that dirt can clog up the cooling fan. The Hybrid battery is not something I would worry about. Just drive the car and enjoy it like a normal car. A car is a car as every car is going to have problems in the long run no mater what you drive. A transmission going out on a regular car expense is no different than a Hybrid battery expense. My friend has to pay 3 grand to replace his transmission on his Honda Civic. Just passed 100,000 miles on my 2011 Silver Prius. Still LOVE it!! Love it so much ; I wife has a 2011 Gold Prius!! And my daughter has a 2013 Blue Prius. I wish I could have a new 2016 or 2017 Prius .... But my wife said no!!

No, but did the inverter coolant along with the radiator coolant at 105K 3) Did you replace the brake pads? First brake job done at 105K 4) Your lifetime MPG (if available)? See Fuely Sig Keep in mind the Gen3 prius computer reads 5% higher than reality in many cars, mine being one of those 5) How often do you change your oil? Every 10K any synthetic 7) Struts/Shocks done at 108K. OEMs not leaking but ride had degraded. Had front passenger wheel bearing go at 70K. Might have been due to improperly balanced wheel or the fact that I take highway ramps faster than I should.

Not quite a member yet, with my Gen3 having 140,000 km on the clock. I do have a Lexus CT200h with nearly 170,000km that is running faultlessly. No maintenance that. I am aware of except regular servicing, has original brake pads, battery and everything else untouched except tyres. Consumption since I have had it is 5.3l/100km. Simon
