It kind of changes.. you have to see it in person to really appreciate it. If you look at my avatar it looks silver, but it isn't.

I am pretty happy with Blizzard Pearl. After I got it detailed you can really see flecks of blue and green when the sun hits it.
I keep it in the garage and stay on top of keeping clean so it always looks nice. I don't remember being this anal about other cars I have owned.

You have to look at that Titanium Glow. Pictures don't capture it well. It is like Champagne with a touch of pink. But also has kind of an iridescent quality to it that reminds me of the lounge lizard's shark skin suit of the sixties.

It's interesting, an acquired taste for me, as they say.

Thanks.BTW, I decided to buy the Prius Prime after having had the chance to do a 5' test of the car, just the dealer parking lot tour. It was a demo car, which I have been told had been sitting in the dealer' parking lot for around a week.
Well, the battery charge indicator was only 1 bar less than full charge. Now, since I am a bit skeptical about Toyota performing a full battery charge before delivering the car, my guess is that such battery charge was provided for free by the Sun. But mine is only a guess....

I got my Prime 2 weeks ago, and I love it. I knew I wanted the Blue Magnetism when I first saw one on a dealer's lot. Why? I've never seen a blue car that I liked until now. Also, my last 4 cars were white, light gray, tan and white. I felt it was time to move on and get a car with a new color (for me). I also got the black interior and am waiting for the shifter applique (black) to come in to cover the white. Also btw, there is an applique for the white piece on the steering wheel available in Japan. So we need to talk to our dealership Parts department managers about nagging Toyota to make it available in the U.S. On another thread, Lawr posted a link to a Japanese site. I tried to add it to this post, but Priuschat won't let me include a link until I've posted 4 posts (odd rule, but w/e). Just search for 'steering wheel applique' and you should be able to find it. It's a complete applique set for Japanese cars with the steering wheel on the right, but the steering wheel applique looks to be the same shape and size as the white part on the Prime.

I've never given cars I've owned names before, but I named my Prime "Paris" ;-)

I got the Blue Magnetism too, but moonstone interior, I actually like the white, especially in this climate. I don't usually name my cars either, but mine is Gadget Mobile. That's what came to mind after I drove it for the first time. :)

I bought the red with black interior. I am in the Baltimore area, which is big (several counties around Baltimore city) and this color scheme was a bit hard to come by in the Advanced trim which is what I wanted (i.e., in demand). My red Prime is my fourth Prius. I had a 2006 Prius V that was blue (lighter than the current Prime blue), then a 2010 Prius IV and a 2015 PiP Advanced, both in dark grey. I was tired of the grey, and the PiP lacked many features that other cars had (e.g., blind spot monitor, back-up grid). The lighter Prime colors didn't speak to me, and the blue (typically my favorite color) was too bold. The red just grabbed me. The "v" notch in the rear spoiler, to me (and my wife, not a Prius driver), is a big improvement over the non-plug-in Prius. (Wife actually likes the look -- she was not a fan of the 2010-2015 models.) The black interior is coordinated with the front grill. With 8 headlights and fog lights (something I'd missed since my 2006) the Prime Advanced is a *very* neat looking car. Whatever color or trim you choose, I am thrilled with the Prime. In 11 years as a Prius owner, I've felt that the Prius offers electronics comparable to a BMW, but eco-conscious and much more economical. The Prime is an exciting car -- hope you enjoy once you make your choice.

That sure is a good looking red!

You know that dip in the rear hatch makes a good place to put your drink down on when you're plugging/unplugging the power cable. There isn't a good place to do that on many cars. :) . I really didn't like the look when I first saw it, but I've had more comments about people liking it than not.

I don't know for sure, but my guess is that he's wrong. Blue magnetism is a new color for Toyota, so I doubt they'd stop it so soon. Besides, if you look through this entire thread, you can see that a lot of us got our Primes in that color.

I just bought my Prime this past weekend in Titanium Glow. The dealership I bought it from only had 3 Primes in their inventory, a red Plus, my Premium and a dark grey Advanced. I didn't get the Advanced because it had the Moonstone seats, which I wasn't a fan of. My previous car had fabric seats so that was one of the reasons why the Plus was checked off as a no. When I asked if there were any other colors in any nearby dealerships, the closest was 60 miles away. So Titanium Glow it was! Sometimes it looks silver. Other times, it look almost like it has a pink/brown undertone!

I saw the titanium glow and was not a fan. This will be my first car purchase ever, so I want to make sure I'm getting a color I like, and pink is not something I can see myself with. Since blue seems to be extinct on Plus models, I will be patiently waiting for Blizzard Pearl.

I'm on the fence about buying one but I hate every single color they offer. Even more annoying is how the front/back bumper doesn't match the vehicle color and instead is some low budget grayish/blackish color. Why can't they just offer it in all black everything!?! At least it would conceal how ugly the car is.

I agree the color options are terrible. Why don’t they have absolutely red or blue crush?

  17. Unquenchable thirst for a cool and unique color/body style. Light blue cars are more unique to me than white, silver, or dark velvet blue. I've seen enough red on other cars.

Bought this at the end of August. Our last few cars have been pure blacks/dark grays so we wanted mix it up and go red. The dealer only had two grays and this red all with the black interiors all in advanced.

So far so good but man, ours have chips on both the main and lower hoods already. Kinda wish we got that clear bra done.

I'm thinking of coating those calipers red. Maybe one day lol.
