I invite you to produce PROOF that there are more than 11. Nine out of 10 dentists surveyed agree with the number 11.

You missed a key word. true complaints. You have also said you would give us your Prius. When I asked about shipping, I got ignored.

Prime is Gen 4.5 since they added a one way clutch for MG2. The software, etc. would be different too. Apples & oranges. Both fruit, but different.

Like I said, just look at all MY complaints! They far outnumber 11.

I'm going back to the Ford Pinto forum...

It's free. Like I said. What the shipping will cost you $27,500. That's a great deal.

You got a quote from a reputable shipping company for that amount? I just want the car not you in it too. Too much added weight :D

    That's a low blow, PP! :(

I just happen to like double cheeseburgers for breakfast. :ROFLMAO: Who wants to live till they're 90!? I will die inside my little Disneyland car Prius, and the firemen can have fun trying to pry me out of there.

Back on topic: I'm up in the sierras, this morning not only did have to scrape ice off all windows, but the strut nuts were rattling like crazy. It is an intermittent problem, at times I don't hear them at all.

Snow chains are currently required to drive into Yosemite, so I'm taking YARTS (the bus) tomorrow morning. I've have this brand new car with touring tires and don't was to mess with the chains or damaging my tires or vehicle. Does anybody here have experience with chains on the 4 touring?

I bought a 2016 Prius 2 last August and I love it. Haven't had any problems at all. They can't all be defective.

My new Prius is not defective, it has a few bugs (rattles) that I am determined to figure out and get rid of. It looks like mine was an early build. My car's eco dairy shows the first miles in April 2016. Occasional mileage of 40-60 appear on later dates. I bought it in November 2016 with 160 miles. So it languished on dealer lots for 6 months waiting for me... it's a great car; I just want to get all of the squeaks and rattles fixed.

Looking at your signature, looks like you've owned 6 hybrids. Including one Honda. Which one is your favorite?

Prius, by far. Luckily I leased my Honda hybrid. I couldn't wait to give it back. Such a less sophisticated car in every way. I've driven many hybrids, and Toyota really has it down.

Agreed. The Honda Civic is a fabulous car. I have owned 4, with the 5 speed manual at the top of the list. But their hybrid systems are no where near the level of Hybrid Synergy Drive.

I used to be a Honda fan boy.. I've owned 5 of the 10 civic generations, An early adopter on all of them. Zero problems with any of them.

1975 Civic CVCC - my first car is also the one that started it all

1992 Civic VX - an early super high mileage experiment.

1993 Civic del sol two seater targa top was fun!, and 38 mpg.

2002 Civic hybrid - very good car, 42 mpg. Totaled in 2005.

2005 Civic 5spd manual - my favorite of the bunch. Tight notchy gearbox, crisp steering, great mileage, boring to look at but held up even today they look good, and best of all I bought it for $14000 drove it for 4 years and sold it for $12000. Ha!
