Danny, which color do you think shows the lines of the car best?

Probably the red. But that could be personal bias coming through. I think the rest of the color palette is pretty blah, actually.

The Sea Glass Pearl shows off the lines pretty well, too.

I think silver brings the lines out best .

Oh yes. Having the battery in the back made it very easy to add an inverter to the Gen 3. With the battery up front in the Gen 4, that's a whole different story, because the wires from the battery to the inverter need to be a short as possible. It destroys the ease of adding a 1kw inverter.

I saw on one video, however, that there was an "emergency" 1.5 kw power option in the cargo area. Anyone know more about that? Will it be available in the USA?

I'm disappointed that the rear seats do not food flat with the cargo area. That gives slightly more storage room for suitcases perhaps, but without things being flat, it spoils the ease of sliding in large objects, as well as sleeping flat.

Personally I wouldn't give a rat's about his review. Let me guess what that would be... oh, it has less than 500hp, 0-60 slower than 5 seconds and it looks really boring, DON'T BUY! His reviews are predictable and biased toward powerful, masculine, petrol guzzling cars (he obviously lacking something in real life), which the Prius isn't.

I much rather read Danny's summary and CR balanced reports. I know I started to sound like an old fart, but that's just me.

Danny, yes. As for "CR", I'll read it on the news stand or library ONLY to confirm the comfy seat and sound deadening worked to get a higher score. But the CR report will wait until they can buy one and that probably won't happen until February . . . Oh yea, middle of winter!

The fact that the photographer could keep up means that it wasn't Danny.
I've ridden with Danny and he certainly puts the hyper in driving, but definitely not hypermiling.
