I'll trade you. That's the best looking black Prius I've seen so far. The black sure looks nice when they're polished and shiny.
With $3500 rebate on 2016s in our area (bought from Toyota Santa Maria), we got my sister into a 2016 Three Touring for $22,600 + TTL (2.9% financing) It almost seemed that they were unhappy with the sale :-D but we got such a great price, I can't blame them and thought they provided good service. One more grey and black left on their lot... oh, and if anyone in the area has 15" wheels/tires with very low miles and wants to upgrade to Touring 17s... let me know and maybe we can work out a deal...
Playing around with Photoshop this morning, tried putting 2012 Plug-In Prius style rims on a 2016: Stock 15" rims, for comparison:
How about putting the Prime front end on the Liftback? While you are at it, do something about that black grill.
Well @MTN was toying with going from 17" to 15" rims. I did similar exercise with our 3rd gen. These are just stock pics, but reflect our situation: Stock: PIP rims:
Actually ended up following the Toyota demo 66 reg Prius in hypersonic red for 8 miles. Very pretty, looked smaller than I feel I am when driving mine! The chrome garnish on the black valance looked nice, but the chome surrounds on the front drls/fogs looked cheap and tacky. The sun was setting, in shadow the red looked more burgandy (not my fave shade) but in light looked much nicer. I also passed the blue one I've seen 6 times in a year. 20,000 mile service booked. Last tank still 64 mpg, even with almost all power mode and brisk acceleration. Really enjoyed the first year of ownership. One glitch with 20 miles no battery charging, 2 weeks with intermittent sensor faults and a stone chip on the nose picked up in my first week the only issues. I have a lot of tar spots to remove and she's due a wax and polish...
