5 day old 2016 Prius 3 with Nav and full body protection package, Black/moonrock cloth. Didn't need all the other add ons as this is strictly a vehicle I will be using for business. My other vehicle is a 2016 tundra platinum pro with all the options. That is not a great car to be driving around daily. Lol $200 a week in gas! I love the Prius. Can't say anything bad about it. People look at it in bewilderment. Looks like Vaders helmet lmao! I actually like the styling. Love driving it and always try to beat my previous scores on the dash monitor. iPhone ?
I see Gen3s all the time and I have to say I think they look boring compared to the Gen4. The body lines look so straight and plain compared to all the curves and contures in the 4.
2016 Prius Two in Silver/Moonstone. Got $1000 off of sticker + $2000 cash back. Traded in my '15 FR-S for it, which was a bit of a shock to everyone at the dealership.
we like our two Eco so much that I may trade in or sale my 2015 in on 2017 next year about this time.
That was my plan but waiting to 2017 so we could get TSS-P. I am now patiently waiting for them to show up at local dealer. Bob Wilson
I live in a 'fly-over' state and have low, expectations of Southeast Toyota. Yes, I know, I should not project past as prologue. I'm also aware that in neighboring state, Georgia, @Danny, snagged one of the early plug-in Prius. But I figured he did the same way as @john1701a. If one shows up, I'll 'kick the tires' and compare it to my used, 2014 BMW i3-REx that just passed 14,000 miles. In just under four months, I've added 7,500 miles in under four months including 2,100 highway trip miles. Saturday we had 'EV Day' at Whole Foods: 4-Teslas; 3-BMW i3-REx; 1-C-Max, and; 1-Volt. I'm not the only one who voted with their bucks. Bob Wilson
I ask my salesman about this Prime, he said they wouldn't be getting them. He seemed sure of himself. That was Southeast Toyota, I have no idea myself, just what he said.
I stopped at my local dealer and checked with my saleperson there, asking about being able to get a Prime through her. She got all excited and hunted on the computer for anything she could find. 2 orders were in the system for the region. That was it. No allocations yet. She did find package numbers though.
AAA buying service will scout shipments from Japan and can divert one that matches your equipment desires. They also usually give you a better price than say a Costco discount. Plus, their paperwork (to take ownership) takes under an hour. If you know what you want and don't need to test drive, this is a good option.
I know what I want and don't need to test drive the vehicle. I was thinking of using Costco, as I am currently a member. Is the savings over Costco from AAA a sure thing? Could I get a quote from both and compare?
Hi Having driven a 2005 model b to 97,000 miles and a 2007 model b to 152,000 I bypassed the model c and purchased my 2016 model d on 26th August for £25,000. In the U.K. It is known as the business edition (15 inch wheels with spare tyre ) and the option of the sat nav technology pack. So far in 2 months the ODO is at 3000 miles. So much easier to drive than my model b's
Mine is the business edition plus, the car from the showroom. Would have loved the leather seats of the excel, but couldnt wait six months. It was £26,000, and i absolutely love it. Having sat in a load of cars at the dealers - including the Kia Optima plug in yesterday, non had a nicer cabin. One Yaris had a full glass roof - that would have been nice!
Yes, certainly. AAA will look for the best price and tell you where they found the car and how long it would take to get to you. You can then tell them no thanks or yes please. I'm not sure if it will help or hurt to tell them you are looking at Costco too.
Do you think they'll start going for under 20k as the '17 models start populating the dealerships? If they can get that close, I can afford to buy one with a decent trade in on my car. I've got an 07 camry and was told at least $4500 and at most $8500 for trade in. Next time I talk to dealership, I'll tell them the more they give me for the camry the more car I'll buy from them.
Just picked up my 2016, Mine was 29,754 and I was able to get it down to 23,834 for Prius 3 touring. Email negotiating is the way to go. I think the later in the year you buy the cheaper they get but the selection also decreases. And I do like it, get second looks all the time. Tinting the windows today, already programmed the annoying reverse beep out yesterday
Problem with most on the forums is that everyone is looking for the absolute best deal and not settling for an already great deal. A difference of 1-300 is insignificant in the amount of fuel you will be saving already had you purchased the vehicle already. I've had my car for a little over a month and have about 3,000 miles now, saving so much in fuel. Could not have been any happier.
25,200 + tax/dmv/doc after $500 and 0% apr for 72 months. (Or 23,700 after $2000 rebate. Your choice!!!) 2016 Prius Three with ATP, special red paint (black interior), console/shifter applique, mats. (msrp 29,869 + dealer's door edge/cup plastic protection that they claim is $995 (total bs)))
