That is hurting!!! I dont know if I would want to buy a Prius in Bulgaria then lol Good to know Thanks for the info! Merged. That price is amazing!! Now I know i have more to go lol Ill let you know what I can get it for! Thanks! Merged. That is the same car I am geting and with the same color to lol It looks so Breathtaking lol How much did you pay OTD!!?
you can get discount in croatia as well, problem is that Prius is not a core product for TMME so they likely wont have bunch of them on lots that you can get discount for... instead you have to order it and then they wont give you discounts unless you travel around the country and pit all the dealers against each other. You cant get €5000 discount for any Toyota here... but €1k-€2k might be possible depending on deals.
Would look kind of boring if everything would be in black wouldn't it ? I would like to buy the gen. 4 in 2017,hopefully they will give us the sun roof til then . I hope they will keep the white center console offered as I kind of like it, because it differentiates it from boring main stream cars .
Yes I have seen they are offering it in Switzerland but UK aren't getting one,and unfortunately I haven't seen a single pic on german Toyota site of a gen 4. Prius with a sun roof ,so I am not sure ! In countrys the sun roof is offered, they are doing the same stupid thing as they are doing in the US by not allowing to have the sun roof with 17" wheels ! I'll bet it will be available with 17" on the refresh in 2019 just as gen. 3 was ! Oh well,I guess the ultra tight turning radius of the 15" wheels will be quite attractive too !
Yes in some ways you're definitely right, but I guess the 17" will handle better and one has to admit, they look way better ! It's a shame Toyota couldn't come up with a better design for the 15" for this,at least in my eyes, great looking car . The could have designed them the same as the 17",just a bit smaller !
It never crossed my mind that 15" tires get better gas mileage than the 17". I just figured that if the advertised MPG for the 17" Touring was the same as the advertised MPG for 15" non-touring, that was it. What gives? And what kind of delta are we talking about.
On the Gen3 (and they do have the same or very similar tire sizes) it's about 0.2 liters / 100km, 3-5mpg from what I read. If you look at Ioniq (has similar tires to Prius) 15" version gets 52mpg in Korea, 17" 47mpg. So I consider 15" an upgrade
I'm not a buyer... YET.. I took a stroll by my local Toyota dealer (Bill Penney Toyota) in Huntsville, Alabama. They were closed when I stopped by, but here are some photos of one they had out front. I'm not sure which model this was, but boy was it nice... It was open and it had a spare and the MPG was 58. Maybe that can help us identify the model. Sweet Ride!
^^ Nice pictures. I can understand putting a plate frame on it which advertises for the dealership... But when a dealership puts a dealership emblem on it like they did (below the Prius emblem), it just screams d-bag dealership move to me.
Which is why I consider it a d-bag move. The adhesive emblems should be left off and the person buying the vehicle should be asked if they mind if they apply it. I digress though...
Oh, @LulzChicken , I see you mentioned it said 58mpg and had a spare. I don't know about the 58 number because only the Eco has a 58 in its mpg numbers (city) but it doesn't have a spare. I can see what looks like a 52 on the window sticker which would be the combined mpg rating on a NON Eco model. The rims suggest a three touring or four touring. But a four touring has no spare if I'm right, so I'm going with it is a three touring because the three touring does have a spare. Someone who has been more in the market, correct me if I'm wrong. As an aside, the dealership was closed but the car was open?! Did I read that right?
If it is the silver one on their website it doesn't say which trim it is but MSRP is over $32k so it's an upper for sure.
I'd definitely go over the numbers with a fine tooth comb Lulz. I see they put nitrogen in the tires because of the green valve stem caps. I'm wondering if they charge extra for that, something I wouldn't pay for. I see that as something they may do just to nickel and dime a potential buyer. I'd watch the numbers and the dealership just to make sure they aren't jacking the price up for small 'extras'.
Looking at other cars they have listed and the options they have on them it looks like they are high with add ons. They love to throw extras on.
Yeah, some dealerships do that, and I find it dishonest. Like adding nitrogen and then tossing their price for it to the purchaser without a choice if they wanted it to begin with.
I agree. They are showing the exact same car I just bought for over $2k more all fluffed up. That's just a big ole red flag to me.
