+1. If it doesn't actually light up that way, it will become a mod in less than a year. And it would sell like hotcakes.

Another good mod would be to offer a painted applique (matching available colors) that would cover up that black stripe whatevertheheckthatis just above and forward the rear hatch. And maybe a companion piece to cover the rear-most blackened out window.

 

Now we near enough know everything about the exterior of gen 4.,It will be interesting to find out about the interior .
Somehow I don't believe that the instrument panel in the spy shots is going to be what the will finally see .
The image of the car in the hybrid - info display doesn't at all look like the new Prius !
In gen 3 it looks exactly like the car !

The headlights look like an angry eagle but I do like the front better than the rear...

That's a pretty ugly car. I cannot wait for the present car design to get beyond the Angry Carp and Transformers phase. Looks like it's infected the Prius now. Glad I picked up an 07 with just 58k miles a few months back.

 

Angry Carp and Transformer Phase?Holy Crap! I heard it all now. I have heard it called a four door Probe, a new model Saturn, even a bad Mirai.

But never have I heard of it being compared to an Angry Carp. Wow, all I see is the New Prius. It's gorgeous in my book.

I mean that was too fast and too short and I barely saw the Prius.

It seemed very rushed. If that was the introduction, then the plane back to Japan was waiting on rhe tarmac burning fuel and waiting on you. Not impressive Toyota, not impressive at all.

I stayed up for that? That stunk.

as someone who thought and still thinks the regular prius is one of the ugliest cars ever made, who has only owned a v and a c, I thinks this is the best looking regular prius so far!

 

Autoweek has a great article about the 2016 Prius. It appears that the interior resembles the Gen Two and adds some accent lines ala Venza and Prius C. Not sure if I like the shifter at a flat angle. Bot I do like the center stack. The A/C vents are just above the radio touch screen. JTM
