Sorry to all you haters out there of the 2015 Prius v style up date; but I love the new front end. Toyota is making their line of cars more distinctive. Look at the 2015 Camry; very sporty. I have a 2012 Prius v and would trade it in a heart beat for the 2015; but have only 36k on the speedometer, so am planning on keeping it for another year.

    Ouch...
I (and others, I presume) don't like the 2015 exterior styling.
It reeks of something cobbled together by Toyota at last minute to offer a Prius v "update."

Personally, I see it as being an insignificant change; no new engine, trannie, or battery updates--no real interior upgrades...it just smacks of a last-minute drawing board plastics update.
I'd invite you to read some of the critical auto reviews of this design change. One of the chief complaints is absence of a new battery pack, and the lack of a third row option (available overseas)...not to mention engine upgrades and possibly a 4WD option.

If you're for exterior style changes, and like the '15 tweaks, then go for it. I simply think Toyota dropped the ball when they had ample opportunity to really improve a great product. My humble opinion, of course...

    FWIW,
Here's the kicker, I found out today:
Toyota is marking DOWN Prius models in CA. Now, a '15 v four in the Sac metro area can be bought for 6k off MSRP, with no negotiation. Toyota is ramping up the '16 model and already wants the '15s off lots.

I like the new, more aggressive front end. Less of wimpy looking toy. Might shut up a few haters.

Haha, I bought a very similar 2015 Prius v in that exact color and from the same dealer Longo! but the 4 model. I personally love the v wagons' look, for the haters, looks are totally subjective :]

I primarily bought the v over the regular prius hatchback for cargo and drive quality. Surprisingly you think the smaller hatchback is more nimble and quicker. While the v is slower, it has a much smoother acceleration that is more linear and seamless, where as after renting 3 Prius hatchbacks realized Prius hatchbacks all have that unnatural, heavy, stepped acceleration that seems to resist your foot. Also the braking on the v is much more responsive and tight, I suppose being heavier Toyota made its brake response time quicker.

As for the minor adjustments from the 2014 to 2015 v models of the front nose and tail lights, I like the 2015 tail lights more, but like the 2014's more pointed front nose, but I just had to go for the 2015 after seeing youtube crash videos of why the 2014 nose was redesigned for safety, the whole windshield ejects out and traps your head in the corner from a front end collision, after seeing that I just had to have the stronger reinforced 2015.

Love it or hate it, the v is an awesome car that surprisingly drives very seamlessly, smooth and responsive, with tons of practical cargo to enjoy cruising on long country roadtrips or any commute, that no other car can match mpg wise.

Yea, and from what I've been reading in the news media, gas prices are set to spike this summer. Hmm....
