2015 Prius V jacking point

    These scissor jack location blocks can stay elusive, as far as I’m concerned.

    1. If I need a front wheel in the air I chock both rear wheels fore and aft, and raise the whole front (using the front/central having point), settle it onto safety stands at the sturdy locations marked in my post #14 (not scissor jack locations).

    2. For oil changes I do similar, just raise it higher, use my (taller) 6 ton safety stands instead of 3 ton.


    3. To get a rear wheel off the ground I do sim to #1, just reversed.

    4. For wheel rotations or 4-wheel brake work, I start sim to #1, then follow through with #3, ending up with the whole car raised, on 4 safety stands.
