Great to see. And thanks to the Toyota team for coming on here, making the announcement and and answering questions. Much appreciated.

Nope, no more Habanero. We try to watch color trends and freshen them as we freshen the vehicles. There's no room for both Tangerine Splash and Habanero on a Prius c, so this is the refreshed orange option. Habanero was about a 5-7% color for us, about as expected for a polarizing color like orange.

    Best,
    Erica

I personally still like the current double barrel headlights over the new single barrel light. Just gives it a more aggressive look.

yea...would've been nice had they just updated the double barrel with led and maybe a light bar or some nice/aggressive accents to the headlight

also...now the C's front makes it look like a fiesta

Am i the only one that thinks that new front end is just a little to aggressive? Kinda makes it look like it has 2 big bottom teeth! Toyota went all sports carish on the C. Took the innocent cuteness away.

I do love all the other changes! The tail lights and shark fin antenna were so needed. And the upgraded interior is much better. That front end is just going to have to grow on me.....

I for one am glad that Toyota has dropped the "French Fry Sauce"- Habenero color.

    Never liked it.

What other colors will be replaced for the 2015's besides habanero? Summer rain? yellow?

Will the U.S. ever see the purple color that was offered overseas on the "aqua"?

I must say I like the updates made to the 2015 C's.

I really wished Toyota would offer some of the JDM parts on the Aqua over the counter for us in the U.S. to purchase, such as the lip kits, body kits, dress up items, etc.

French Fry Sauce? I though ketchup was red!

What do you put on your fries?

Toyota just replaced Habanero with another type of orange, so you will have to endure it for a few more years to come.

Does the MSRP remain the same level? The old model doesn't have 6.1 inch screen and it only available in three and four.

Can I just say that it feels (and I'm very glad) that Toyota really does listen to us when we say that things look bad or could look better.

A lot of people complained about the C's original taillights being hideous. Too much chrome, if I recall. And they totally fixed that, they added the little side panels and I think they look much better.

A lot of people on here blacked out their front grill to give it a more aggressive look, and now Toyota is doing the same. I'm amazed. Also, shark fins are way cooler, so I'm excited for that.

I just bought my C 9 months ago, I already have 12k on it and I love it. I'm going to start saving up for the next-NEXT face lift or remodeled Prius C (Gen 3?). Hopefully on that one we can get some small improvements on MPG.

    Hey Erica,

Just so we are clear. There were no improvements on MPG with this face lift, correct?

    Thanks,

Funny, one of the ways we described the design goal was to reduce the cuteness and make it more aggressive so like the design or not, I guess the design team nailed the direction if you described it the same exact way!

    And now that it's public:
Toyota Announces Pricing for Refreshed 2015 Prius c
    • Aggressive, Sportier Look With LED Headlights and Newly Designed Taillights
    • Upgraded Interiors and Available Technology Features
    • New Eye-catching Exterior Colors
    December 03, 2014
TORRANCE, Calif., Dec. 3, 2014 - The 2015 Toyota Prius c (c for city) rings in the new year with an aggressive, sportier look, upgraded interior features and available advanced technology features. Toyota today announced manufacturers’ suggested retail prices (MSRP) for the refreshed 2015 Prius c.

The base MSRP for the 2015 Prius c will range from $19,540 for the Prius c One to $24,475 for the premium Prius c Four. The 2015 Prius c will begin arriving at dealerships in late December.

    High MPG Equals High Value
Toyota’s most affordable hybrid vehicle is also its most fuel efficient. The Prius c, with EPA-estimated 53 MPG city / 46 MPG highway / 50 MPG combined, offers the highest city MPG of any vehicle on the road today (MPGe vehicles not included).
