2012 vs 2013 — What changed between model years?

    All the US 2012 c1 and c4 have black dash panels. Can't say the same for Canada though. No idea what's there.

    Newbie here - so glad to have found these forums. We're about to pull the trigger on the Prius C , trim type 2. Can you tell me if the dashboards are different on this particular model between 2013 and 2012? I don't have a real preference - I just want to keep my dealer honest because I asked for a quote on the 2013 and they sent me a spec sheet for a 2012. Want to make sure I'm getting the car they promised me so I can ID the year on sight if the dashes differ.

    Just the grey trim change on the passenger side to black.

    Check the door sill. There will be a plate that shows the year. You can also look at the tail lights. There will be a 2 digit number printed on it. It should say 13 for the year model.
