Wanted to update you all! So, I have bought the car and will pick it up on the weekend it's the same one I started the thread with. Although almost gave up waiting for the person he was 20 minutes late. Overall I was very impressed with the car, very clean and had whole front end including fenders wrapped in clear coating for protection from rocks which he didn't mention. Test drove it, fell in love with it. Will post pictures on here when I get the vehicle! As for the price I was able to get it down to $13.1. Wondering about the service now, when would you recommend to do the service next if the car is at 50k or what I need to look out for? Thanks
If the car was dealer serviced see when he did a oil change. I would wait till 60k to get that big service. $13.1k is a good price.
The dealer auction prices are trending around 9-11k for that model year. California is generally an overinflated market however, so its expected that you would probably pay a couple thousand extra. I could get one for you in similar condition for 10k, but then you would have to pay for shipping and delivery, auction fees etc would end up costing you about the same.
Sorry, been very busy past week and didn't have time to post some pics. Here they are, so far loving the prius! just some little sounds coming from some plastic in the back when the road is bumpy, will work on that soon. Just a normal rattling sound nothing big. Took the plastic wheel hubs off first thing to make the wheels black and replaced interior bulbs with some led's and blacked out few emblems, now waiting for HID lights to come in this week. Might put visors on as well will see. Been having issues with logging in to toyota owners website, I have change password multiple times but it just not letting me log in for some reason, frustrating.
