Just picked it up, ended up getting the extended warranty, brought my total to 28,000. More than I wanted to spend, but I know it's worth it
I am new to this stuff. In my 40 years of driving I've owned 6 cars and 3 motorcycles and only one of them was bought new. Everything else was bought from a private party, not a car dealer. If the MSRP is $1500 cheaper in Socal does that mean all things being equal, like a Costco deal or fleet deal arranged ahead of time, that the cost is going to be $1500 cheaper in Socal? That makes it worth my while to fly down there for the weekend and drive it home.
Some of the apps have not been added to entune yet I believe. I think they are supposed to be added soon. I would guess you have to go back to the dealer for a software upgrade when they do get added.
"iHeart radio, open table and movie ticket aps" Read more: 2012 Prius 2 or 3 | Page 2 | PriusChat Those apps are already present on my car plus Pandora. Admittedly I do not use open table, though I have confirmed it runs, or the movie ticket app. Pandora and iHeart do work. I have the HDD Nav. There are problems. With Entune, but all the apps you should currently have should be there now. Ask the dealer
Not truly but it's a very nice backing up aid and gives you peace of mind if small kids are playing near your driveway.
Gas prices were peaking when I got my 2012 II at Torrance Toyota, I could not get a break on pricing. But many things going on at the time, still I'm driving 90 miles a day, 5-6 days a week, and I know I will get at least 45mpg. so it works for me.
I'm a newbie looking to purchase a Prius 3, and roughly $22,700 ($1k more than the above stated $21,700) is the best price I've seen. I've searched Torrance Toyota website, but can't seem to find a contact info for David Martinez. Can you please let me know how I can contact him to get a deal? Thanks.
I also can't seem to find a David Martinez among the staff directories on their site. Maybe he doesn't work there anymore? If anyone has his email, please let me know...
What do you mean, "call" ??? Oh, you mean, use a telephone? I'm so used to texting, emailing and facebooking, I've forgotten how to use a telephone
David Martinez is working for Hollywood Toyota now. I just found this out. Not sure if Hollywood Toyota will have similar deals as DCH Toyotas... Last time I talked to them, they were not very aggressive with their pricing. Good luck!
I've gotten along without one for a year, but I'm now searching for an aftermarket unit, you really have to be careful when backing up a gen III.
You still have time to turn back in the extended warranty, it is a waste of money and will cover nothing for the first 3 years or 36000 miles, SAVE YOUR MONEY!
I'm new here and looking for my 1st Prius, 2013 III, could someone recommend a dealer and contact? Anyone has experience with David Martinez? Lena, who's your contact at DCH of Oxnard? thanks
dianne at carson or david at torrance have good service. if you want the cheapest price, then go to truecar.com to get the invoice of your specific make and model. then contact tons of dealers at the internet sales dept for prices. cheapest price doesn't always mean best value or best service.
