Went to the dealership today to have my LoJack installed, STUPID reverse beeper shut down, and to cancel my ext warranty. The finance guy I spoke with tried to tell me I could not purchase a warranty from anyone other than a dealer. I showed him this site and emphasized the overcharge. I said if he could match the online price, I would be happy to purchase. He tried to tell me I had to purchase now. Knowing I had 3 years or 36k miles to make that decision was a thorn in his side. He also stated that the warranty was going to get more expensive because of the situation in Japan. HUH? I insisted on canceling. He regretfully complied. Extended Warranty CANCELED. :cheer2:
