2010?

The 2010 has noticeably taller tail lights and dosen't have to stop as often at gas stations.

 

I forgot I had this picture (from a cell phone, so quality isn't great):



My Gen 3 next to a Gen 2 of the same color.

Noticeable differences include the tail lights (Gen 3 go higher), more defined bumper on the Gen 2, the small triangle-window is smaller on the Gen 3, and the gas doors are a different shape. I think the Gen 3 spoiler sticks out a little more, and as someone else mentioned is black regardless of car color, while the Gen 2s match.

Although if you spot a black Gen3, the spoiler and body colour do match
