2010 Prius Mud Flaps???

Good news, I asked them for a combined auction and here it is:

TOYOTA PRIUS GENUINE FRONT AND REAR MUDFLAPS 2009> - eBay (item 250496934099 end time Oct-11-09 06:07:04 PDT)

Both front and rear with combined shipping for £67.96 total, which puts it at about US$113 as of this post. (Additional email hassles not included.)

 

Ordered mine today for same price, about $113. No word on shipping yet.

How long does it take to cross the pond?

They shipped mine on Labor day the 7th and I got them early morning on the 9th by Fedex. It don't take long.

 

Thanks cpatch for arranging the combined auction and to topkick for all the info and work. I just ordered mine a few minutes ago. Today's price is $115.85 USD. Well worth it.

 

Well crap. My shipping address is a PO Box. I hope that they know to send postal or I may never get it. Unless FEDEX sends postcards like UPS to PO Box holders.

 

Ordered mine 9/1, and they shipped 9/11 - but that was due to slow Pentagon staff updating the shipping charges for EBay.

They should have that fixed ??? They seem to be good at getting stuff out the door, they're just not always the fastest EBayer in the world.

Of course they are the only EBayer in the word selling them - so they have cornered the market I know because I did the searches in other countries looking for a second source....

Ordered mine through the combined auction on the 14th, shipped today (16th).

 

My order is a day behind you (15th) so well see if mine ships tomorrow (17th).

 

Being in the "shadow" of the wheel and tyre it seems to make no difference. Well it never did on my Gen II.

I think it is more like an open umbrella on the back of a pantec truck.

 

Ordered mine on the 10th I believe and they showed up today - so a week from the UK to Minnesota. Not bad at all.

I notice that the flaps are marked made in the EU.

Edit: I just checked and they credited my charge account for the combined shipping without being reminded. All is good!

 

Confirmed. My order has been shipped. They are definitely consistent on their timing.

 

They ship quickly once you've negotiated the email communication hurdles, e.g., confirmation of combined shipping, notification of total costs before paying, etc. It took longer to order and pay than the shipping time from the English dealer to my door.

The Fedex slip, presumably for customs, indicated that the flaps were made in Germany. I haven't looked at the flaps to try to verify this... and haven't yet installed them either.

it is me or is the ebay listing for the 2009 model? i didn't read through all the post. but, it doesn't seem like it is for the 2010 model. the picture shows a gen II.

 

You are correct but they work perfectly on the 2010's. Previous posts in this thread confirm that.

 

If you had bothered reading through at least the first 15 posts you would know that the ebay listing is for the 2009 European model, which is the same as the 2010 U.S. model.

 

I could be wrong but I thought I read that the UK 2009 model is our 2010 model.

Just got mine in today (as well as my new wheels/tires). Will be putting them on tomorrow.
