2010 Prius III, with the JBL sound system... Bluetooth streaming??

    Too many negative reviews (even though the average was 4 stars). I don't need constant access to the unit--the dongle with push to talk, skip track, etc.--and would prefer that all of it remains "hidden" in the center console.

    If this worked well, it would probably be a decent alternative.

    My wish list would include:
    1. Plugs into AUX input in center console for audio (check)
    2. Plugs into 12v cigarette power adapter to constantly charge the unit (??)
    3. That BT power plug would have one or two USB ports on the top of it, so as not to monopolize that charging port completely (??)

    Can you please comment on the pairing of a phone with the 2010 Prius JBL audio system? I tried pairing my Android phone and it says the phone is paired but it didn't take the phone book to make calls. Thanks

    I'm pretty sure you need to import the phonebook, it's been a while since I had to do it
