2010 prius 12v battery?

    I replaced mine after 6 years with a lawn tractor battery for $39. Fits well and has been been working great for months now maybe a year? I did a thread back at the time.

    Will this be what you'll be doing when @Mendel Leisk buys your PIP for the wheels and I liquidate some assets to acquire the expendable part of the PIP?

    For the record, bought the battery, fits and works fine. Kind of a PITA to reach the terminals with the battery in place or to get the battery out without taking the terminals off first, but I figured it out. I ended up using the 9V battery on the jump terminal method to preserve settings and presets.

    Why AC/Delco (GM) would market a battery with JIS terminals, I have no clue, but I'm assuming it's just a rebrand of a major manufacturer, so I'm willing to take a chance to save 50 bucks.
