Just bought a 2010 Prius III w/ Nav at a $3,000 discount. MSRP $26,800 including all fees and extras. Paid $23,900 out the door and I negotiated for the next Nav DVD upgrade for free when it comes out.
I didnt really have much to discuss with them. The financial guy was not a pain in the butt and my actual dealership was minimal. Plus they picked me up about 10 miles away at the Amtrak station. Overall, it was the best dealership experience I have ever had. Namely because they concerned about getting very good ratings on the survey, and because I was actually dealing with the dealership envirnment for about an hour. Everything else was done online and over the phone. If you go to the dealership in SilverSprings MD ask for Godwin and mention me and he will likely give you the same deal.
Lowest I could go on a II was $22,900 (wouldn't budge any further...perhaps I should have started walking out) plus $150 doc. fee and TTL.
2010 Barcelona Red, Package IV, floor mats and bumper applique, + 2 year/25,000 mile free maintenance (part of the toyota owner loyalty offer). Negotiated price = $26,800 (after $750 rebate) Out the door price = $30,060 (9.75% tax in Alameda county....sigh). No trade in, no financing, straight up cash deal.
invoice on a II is 22,182 plus floormats etc. actual dealer cost including holdback would be right at 21,700. I am shooting for 1-3% above that amount on a II.
kremlin, Yes 21,200 included pocessing fee. Final on the road price was 21,999.95. Purchased in md/dc area. Thought I had killer deal. So is the post about the III w/nav for 23900 out the door in the same metro area. Waiting until the end of month helps.
killer deal..... dealer cost with hold back would have been somewhere close to $21,800. Must have been a Regional Incentive as well.
You should of built it so canadians could also participate. We already get burned with higher prices.
Isn't that basically MSRP you paid? 27800 - BASE 1420 -FREIGHT/PDI 220 - Metallic paint Not sure where u got the last 49.99 from
Dealers here at WA don't budge for anything less than $22,031 for a Prius II. I am really impressed with some of the recent deals quoting $20,770 & $21,200. Any pointers to get these deals around seattle area? Is there a possibility of transferring such deals across dealers?
Just joined the world of Prius! I got the following: 2010 Prius III Winter Grey Navi Sunroof Bluetooth $305 a month with $899 down. MSRP was $28,500 and I got em down to $26,450. Oh and that's a 3 year lease with 12,000 miles per year.
I searched dealer websites for the best price, and arrived at the showroom to buy. In Virginia suburb of Washington DC, there are 17 dealers within 25 miles from my zip code. Some of them have large inventory of Prius. Today Fairfax Toyota web site shows 92 Prius in their inventory. Costco buying service brought one very good deal (1,000 below invoice). Buy at the end of the month also help. Good Luck.
Thanks TPM10! I guess the deals are regionalized in addition to the nationwide incentives. I tried the costco and the price I got was invoice + 300 on a month end
