I think you can get it lower, i got a III with Solar, for $236 a month with $2k down not including taxes, didn't want to give you after taxes since it is 9.75% in Palo Alto, CA. Yeah my down was $500 more, but the Solar is much more than that.
Hello Sassan, I Thankyou very much for your most detailed purchasing procedure, I shall store this for future use on my PHEV :cheer2:
Took advantage of the recent "clearance" sale and traded-in my 2006 Pkg 6 for $11k and got $10k back ($1k down) on a 3 yr lease for 2010 Pkg 4 w/Navigation & Mats (Sticker price $30,030; Financed lease value $27,369; Residual $18,447) @ $264/mo plus sales tax. Probably could have gotten a few $k more out of the 2006 in a private sale but there are too many used Prius' in the SF Bay Area to bother trying to get top dollar for it. So, I'm happy!
Any good Labor Day sales this weekend in Socal? I'm looking to get a Prius 3 with navigation (MSRP 26,590). I live in Valencia but may drive down to Longo because I know they're the biggest dealer. Thanks!
Picked up my Prius V w/ ATP, carpet mats, trunk mat, illuminated door sill yesterday in Blizzard white and Dark Gray leather. MSRP/Sticker : 34814 Invoice: 32736 Price: 29430 Drive out : 31854 Thank you Paul58 for your help in getting 3300 under invoice.
Rama, Congratulations on the new Prius! I'm glad I could help, sounds like you got an awesome deal and an awesome Prius!
got mine on Saturday at Toyota Carlsbad in Carlsbad Ca. Silver level 3/solar '10 for $26,657. About a week before I messaged 4 local dealers asking what they had with the solar package. Seem to be a rare car.
I drove a Prius IV today. First time and i loved it. The dealer would not budge off the sticker price. It had leather seats and moonroof, nav. system. List was 32,xxx.00 forgot. They had a 1000 off special until tomorrow. I walked away. My husband thinks of this car as a small compact and he cant believe they cost this much. I am still trying.
They are absolutely lying. They'll come down. Try to find out what their dealer's invoice is for the car
I just bought my 2010 Prius III with Navigation Package from a dealership in Northern VA. I paid $22300 including freight; that doesn't include the $389 processing fee. The price didn't include any extras (not even floor mats). Once I paid all the fees and taxes, it ended up at $23500. Hopefully it was at least a decent deal!
Not True. It depends on where you live. Here at the moment we have few Priuses to choose from so they go for more. If each dealer had 10 on the lot then they would go for less. I managed to get an extra $600 out of my dealer we got my wifes from than another dealer in town. I had to work and almost walk for that. I also traded in an very unwanted car which didn't help. But then Toyota threw in the extra 1K on the lease which made me jump. $17 in interest over 3 years. Who can argue with that? Especially since my company can write off the cost of the lease!
I bought a new 2010 Prius with package level III and only other "option" were the carpet mats that are already removed for Weathertech mats that I bought on-line. I bought it at Ernie "Come on Down!" Boch Toyota on the Automile in Norwood MA. The purchase price was $3k UNDER MSRP with 1.9% financing for 60 months and 2 yrs "free" service from Toyota... so the vehicle cost was $22,200 + taxes + registration. I was playing chicken a little waiting for the year-end deals since I only wanted that color and option package. But I was only looking to buy one of these cars, and Boch had it for the year-end discount. I'm glad that there is a popular forum here at PriusChat so that newbies like me can learn about my new ride from all of you.
New owner - first post. Just wanted to say "Thank You" for this forum and all of your help when deciding to buy a Prius! Last night we bought a new 2010 Prius II in Blizzard Pearl / grey interior with mats for $22760 OTD AND took advantage of Toyota's 0% for 5 years. Apparently the deal in this area is 0% financing OR ~$1000 off the price. SC TTL is ~$380, so the car was basically $22380 after admin and delivery. I can't complain This was by far the easiest and most pleasant new-car buying experience we've ever had and we are very pleased with the car so far. Thanks again! Dave
You got a good deal, I have the III w/o Nav and I paid $21,500 before the freight, so essentially you got NAV for "free" when comparing to mine, which was very good. Bought 2 months ago though, so guess they're willing to haggle a bit more closer to the end of the quarter and end of the year. Enjoy it!
i just bought a 2010 Prius III Base Package (EJ, CF) in Silver/Dk. Grey in Northern California. MSRP:$24,760 Invoice: $23,043 Our Price: $22,600 Out-the-Door with Tax, Title, Fees: $25,110
