As for the posters, I have a 16x20 poster ordered from ShutterFly, it should be here tomorrow or Saturday. It was free for buying some lenses, but the regular cost was close to $20 by the time you added in shipping, so would not recommend them. Costco appears to be cheaper, though smaller. I'll let folks know about the quality of the larger Shutterfly version when I receive.

 

Will the calendar go until Feb 07 then?

 

Bigdaddy, would you be able to upload the full version to somewhere like www.yousendit.com so it's available for download? You should be able to put in your own email for the recipient, and then post a link to here.

I was going to see about the 16x20 poster from Shutterfly for myself...I had heard from someone else though, that shipping was only about $5? So I am not sure....but I thought it might be worth looking into....

It does say 2006 and there is a quantity number of which I don't know if it counts up or down.

I just registered and prepurchased my calendar. Now they need to hurry up and finish it! Sure hope at least one of my pics makes the final cut....

 

My shutterfly poster has come in and as promised here is my report:

WOW!!!!

Even though I created it and might be biased, I was a stunned when I got it.

Details:
Came packd in big sturdy tube.
16x20 inches in size
Matte, not glossy, finish.
Nice color.
Came cropped and centered exactly as I ordered it.
Thick Fujifilm Crystal Archive paper.

I am framing this and hanging it in the office. I take back what I said about this not being worth $20, to me it is priceless. Trust me, I've been playing around with and printing this image for a couple of months, and this is by far the best print I've been able to come up with. I ordered 2 smaller prints of some photos I took and am suitably impressed with those as well.

I know that Danny and rflagg are working on a slightly smaller (12x18) and less expensive version of this (and one that might benefit PC in it sales), but I'll offer up the following to the group if you want to go the larger Shutterfly route:

I've already gone through the Shutterfly setup process for the print (upload, scaling, cropping, etc), and it appears that I can have Shutterfly ship to multiple people. If you'd like a 16x20 version of this, I'll order it for you at cost to me and have it shipped to you. You can paypal me the money along with your address. Shutterfly has a discount on these larger formats that unfortunately ends today, so today's price is $19.38 (14.39 + 4.99 shipping), and then they go up to $22.98 (17.99 + 4.99 shipping).
