Great post Andy. Guess we did a good job in estimating the credit.

A couple mistakes I noticed they made. They inadvertently referred to the credit as a deduction:
"Please keep in mind that the bill caps the number of people who can claim the deduction at 60,000 for each automaker until 2009, so the sooner you purchase the vehicle, the better. "

Also, they didn't take into account the grace phaseout period after 60K has been reached. Guess the IRS is going to have a mess trying to establish how we can tell whether we can take the credit when filing or not, or more importantly, when the purchase deadline is before we have a reduced or eliminated credit.
