c'mon guys, lets not be too judgemental here. That price is about what I paid the dealer at MSRP plus CA tax and all the add-on fees.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(MarinJohn\";p=\"50563)</div> Personally, I find that somewhat difficult. Danny pointed out that this is (presumably) a private sale so the original poster, being an individual member, is allowed to list his Prius for sale here. Yet, I find the fact that this "private sale" post was this particular member's first and, thus far, only post a bit tough to swallow, particularly at the stated price. Had this been either a long-time member or the post had not been the very first and only post, I would have a different perspective. Now, it just looks like a hit-and-run.
I agree with tag. If he bought this car, only had it a week and never drove it, either he did so hoping to make money, or had a SERIOUS financial setback as soon as he got the car home.
Hi everyone who replied to this posting... this is pocohonta Thanks for the 'constructive' criticism well-intended or not. Actually, I sold the car within 3 weeks of posting, made $1000 profit, reported the profit on my tax return, and bought another 06 Prius (with the color that I want... silver) which I am keeping and writing the tax deduction for. In fact, I just bought a Lexus Rx400h, also silver, which I believe also qualify for the tax deduction. PS: I love my two hybrid cars.... I think all cars should be hybrid. PPS: I even had the 2001 model of Prius back in year 2002 and I love that car too and when I sold it I got good selling price for it.
