I didnt think to hit the trip as soon as i realised the odo stopped at 299,999. Im guessing im at 303,000 or so. (im at 2100 miles on the trip) For the Tax man im going to have to keep all my gas receipts and manifests in a better order from now on.
Not at 200k yet, but getting close with 193k! Just replaced the 12v Aux Battery last week, had 192,800 miles on it. I had the brakes inspected in Feb of this year and was told that I still had about 80% pad life on them! However, I did have to replace the water pump for the gas engine in February.
However, there is a limit to the digits displayed by the trip odometers. IIRC, they will show up to 9,999.9 miles.
203k, nothing above replaced, ever! 45.8 mpg and oil changes - whichever National chain is offering a change and tire rotation for 20 bucks! This car's a beast!!:cheer2:
I have 215,000 on my 2004. Original battery, I replaced the belt as a precaution, original brake pads (and they still tell me I have 3,000 miles left - and they tell me that everytime they look at it), no major repairs at all (this part alone kinda amazes me - I keep waiting..). This car has been the most dependable car I have every owned (and I am almost 50 years old now and have been driving cars since I was old enough to have a license). I've never owned a Toyota until I bought this one - my brother swears by Toyota; I'm starting to see why! ;0)
I have an 05, purchased with 44 miles on it. I now have 218k miles. All ive replaced was an o2 sensor and a few other minor things. But it died last thursday, had it towed to my house, still dont know the extent of the issues. I had the following codes P1116, P1121, P3193. I was driving on the interstate and all the warning lights came on and i lost power as i got over. Jumps would only allow me to turn my lights on and dashboard, but the engine doesn't start. Anyone have any ideas?
I replied to you in the other thread you started. It looks like you ran out of gas. If it is not the case, tell us what kind of maintenance you have done.
I'm looking to buy a 2007 Prius from the limo I work for. The car has about 250,000 miles on it right now with only minor this that have gone wrong with it like the headlights. I have driven this car for about a year. Now my co. is buying the 2010,11 cars. my question would be do you think this is a good buy for $2500.00 or not?
Youve been driving the car for a year, if you dont feel like theres a problem with it id go for it for $2500.
Well, my Prius has 90,000 miles on it and I've only had it a week. However, the Tercel I had was a 1997, bought it in 1999 with only 37,000 miles on it. By the time I had to salvage it 2 weeks ago, thanks to a deer, it had over 311000 miles on it and would have still been going strong. Had to add oil to the car every other week though. It was a fun car to drive, a manual. We have been through a lot together, sweet car, it is time to move on. Of course now that I have my Prius, I feel like I have moved on from hot dogs to caviar.
I just hit 200k last week in my 2005 Prius. I have changed the oil every 5k. I have replaced tires. Chipped a couple of windshields. Replaced a water pump at 120k miles. Did some brake work at 170k miles. That is the extent of the maintenance/repair work needed. Lifetime MPG, I average about 47 MPG in the summer, and about 40 mpg in the winter. I can't tell you how much I love the car. So much, that I just bought a 2010 Prius V.
