    agreed. but i'm not talking about owners. i'm talking about the 97% potential owners. i'm sure there are owners who don't understand range anxiety at all.

    I think there is room in the market for those 100 to 200 mile range BEVs, because the battery cost is still a big one.

    and as more people come to enlightenment, they may become more popular at the right price point.
    i'm now thinking a 50 mile prius, or degraded leaf might be perfect for me. if i wind up putting a thousand miles a year on the pip engine, what's the point of lugging it around.
