Better now. Odd that in my signature an old average MPG figure is displayed. Yet when I look at my signature update page here the current MPG average shows. I wonder if it is because I transfered my old car's fuelly account to the new owner.

Anyway...up to 40 MPG average in the '19 Rav4h on 3 fills since initial fill. Very mixed driving.

Still letting the computer calculate the mpg of mine. I had to trade in the Prius so I opted for the RAV4 xle hybrid. So far so good even in our winter months it’s averaging really good mpgs. My Prius in the winter achieved 34mpg and 45-50 in summer months. The rav is currently getting 32 and increasing daily. It doesn’t seem to favor ev as much as the Prius but it will go farther in ev mode vs the Prius before the ice kicks in. At least at 34mph. So far I like it, but we will see once I get a few tanks of gas behind it for real mpgs.

2019 Limited with all 3 option packages. 7.2k miles, zero reasons to visit the dealer. Does well what I expected it to do. Pleased.

Driven in town mostly. But have taken multi hundred mile trips too. Love that on the interstates it pretty much drives itself.

Yes you have to gas fill it on the slowest pump handle setting. Yes cold weather (fuel formulation, denser air to push through, more heat in cabin means more ICE running, lower tire pressure, etc) seems to affect its MPG more than it did on my Prius v.

Comfortable, drives well, lots of power (and the Prime will have even more).

How do you feel about 39.2 (Fuelly)? And how does that compare with your PRIUS v?

I'm not disappointed since 2/3 of the time I've owned the car has been winter with all the downsides that brings. And 80% of the miles are accumulated at 70 MPH so the MPG is whatever it is. Given that it is a bigger, heavier, more powerful, more loaded car than the V to come within about 1.5 MPG is enough. And with gas last night at $1.939 ...

With the v, I'd be driving 2 miles under the speed limit on a road trip. With the Rav4h I find I'm at 2 mile over as indicated. Just that extra 4 MPH costs MPG. And why the change in driving habits? The grandkids moved 15 miles further away. The fun of the extra power. The lack of an always in you face instantaneous MPG display like the v had to help train/tame your right foot. When I first got the car and was driving v style, I matched the v's MPG.

Question, if it's already in the comments, please excuse me - I went through several pages and couldn't find answer... I camp in my Prius... is the Hybrid system in the Rav4 the same as the Prius ... in other words, can we leave it running all night for climate control purposes?

Yes it is very similar to the Prius, the climate control features are the same. But for camping purposes, maybe a plug in version will be better when it runs off the quiet battery?
