    I hope he enjoys the Rav4!

    FWIW, the only time I had to leave my faithful 2010 G3 (work car) in the barn was due to high water after a hurricane - and the fact that the G3 was a little too much of a city-car to deal with rural storm damage.

    The R4 should be at least moderately more capable.
