These caps are a must if your not gonna run the covers.... I'm kinda surprised Toyota didn't include them like they did on the GenII... or at least they were on my 2006!

But I'm not surprised the dealer tried to capitalize on them by charging 74.00 for "each" of them when they were free before... isn't that just a bit absurd and ridiculous?....

I hope the dealers don't feel persecuted for the bad hype they get.... they pretty much deserve it!

Should be $10.48 each, plus $12.99 total shipping & handling (at least in the Lower 48; not sure about Alaska and Hawaii) @ parts.com

Sorry your right Boo, 10.48. As it turned out, Parts.com messed up on the shipping (in my favor) and shipped UPS for like $8 total (for my $130 order) so I got a REALLY good deal. They were really great people to work with.

Can you please tell me where you purchased the 52110's? I like those better than the domed caps, but I can't find them available at any website.

Welcome to the site. A quick read of this thread has parts.com mentioned several times. That's where I ordered mine from.

Ordered our caps today at the dealer, we had go in and take an extra key we forgot to take when we traded Monday. They were $15/ea. Service manager actually told me that when someone loses a wheel cover they recommend going to the caps, it's cheaper than a wheel cover.

I just called the dealer and asked him to put these on for me before i pick up the car. I was supposed to get the 17" wheels but they've been recalled because of problems in the lug area. I'm hoping he throws them in for free as kind of and "I'm sorry." Can't hurt to ask.

He had no idea what I was even talking about but I gave him both part numbers from here and he's checking with service. Thanks for the great info from all of you here at PriusChat. This has been so much easier with all I've learned here. I know way more than my dealer and I can now educate them and they can pass it on.

Couldn't agree with you more! This forum is great.

After almost a tank of fuel, I have not noticed a decrease in FE with the caps. I am down 1 mpg (off the overall average) but I believe that is because it has been getting cold here (30 degree the last two mornings) and the ICE runs much longer now (to warm up).
