12v 45Ah battery, Does it neccessary to be AGM bettery?

    I will try and let you know.

    And I found 1 liquid battery name "Banner" from Austria. There is 1 dealer in Thailand. His price is $104. More expersive than Japan battery and I accpted this price. Do you have any idea for this brand?

    BTW, In Prius club Thailand. more than 70% user brought 12v Japan Battery(liquid). Their comment is no problem with electronic parts but life time is shorter than AGM battery(original from Toyota)

    Already changed to Banner Battery, model P4523 not "r". The first impression is low fule comsumption(2-3%) and more accelerate. Do you have any idea or comment?

    12v battery for normal car is way different because it has to be used to start the engine. In a Prius the 12v only runs electronics and Hybrid battery pack starts the engine. The most common battery used for wheelchairs and computer back up power supplies is going to be the lowest price because they are so common. On West Coast USA they cost about $125 and have significantly greater amp hours and half the price than the ones the auto shops recommend for Prius.
